Somone

Covering an area of 7000 ha, Somone Lagoon is now a classified natural reserve. Throughout the year, many species of birds migrate to the lagoon: pelicans, herons and egrets, flamingos roses...

Between the lagoon and the baobab forest, the tan, a vast sandy area, is more or less flooded by tides or rain in the rainy season.

The village offers many hotels and campsites and allows several excursions in the surrounding villages.

Bandia reserve

The game reserve of Bandia is a park of more than 500 hectares: monkeys and gazelles have fun between mounds and Baobab trees along some 23 kilometers of tracks

You will meet the majestic giraffe, alongside rhino, Buffalo, elk, and other Oryx or cobs of Buffon, among the diversity of breeds found there. And if you feel inclined, you can eat lunch at the restaurant, near the point of water where crocodiles, Buffalo, Warthogs, monkeys and Guinea fowl will keep you company.
